A Night out at La Nouba

At the far end of Downtown Disney--away from the bustle of most of the restaurants, but close to House of Blues and DisneyQuest is Cirque du Soleil's stage for La Nouba.  My husband and I first saw this show on our honeymoon.  He was reluctant to go, as most men are about stage shows, but now he recommends it as much as I.  It's a great chance for "a night out" amongst the rush of theme parks.

Since it is in Downtown Disney a proper night out should include dinner and drinks, either before or after.  We found ourselves eating at the Rain Forest Cafe (I was craving some tropical chicken) prior to the show then we were able to enjoy drinks at House of Blues at an outside bar afterwards.  With all the walking, its important to wear something that is classy yet functional.

I pulled this off a previous attempt at a blog.  Overlook the fact that this particular dress is $1,700.  For walking around DTD, getting dinner, seeing a show, and getting drinks this is perfect.  The flared dress is flirty enough for a date night but casual enough to blend with the other Disney visitors--not to mention it will fit nicely into a suitcase.

Let me know what you think.
